it is getting close to time for me to buy a lawnmower.
when i was growing up and cutting my dad's lawn he always had a self-propelled lawnmower.
i was very lucky in that i never had to use a push-mower.

We have a ride on lawn mower and an acre of mowing.
When one of our teenage sons does the lawn, I've looked out the window at them and wondered if they were competing in the Indianapolis(sp?) 500 car race.
On occasion, I've had to holler out the window and wave the yellow flag...
When they are mowing like that I feel it's more of "ripping" the grass off rather than cutting it.

so my wife is standing at the door, waiting for me to finish my morning ablutions so that we can go out, and she asks me to go to the door.
i met a very friendly couple who wanted to talk to me about jehovah.
i informed them that i was raised as a jehovah's witness and that i had been disfellowshipped for about (and i had to think about this) five years now.. and the dude was offended by my existence.

my daughter came home from shcool yestarday red!
after a private discussion with her, she said a girl in school whom she has gym with (7th grade) told another girl that her uncle has been touching her!
my daughter wasnt part of the conversation but she stepped in and asked if she (victim) has spoken with the counselor yet.
Good job stef and daughter.
